By accessing or using Brief Digest at briefdigest.news, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

Brief Digest is an AI-powered news aggregation and summarization service. We:

• Aggregate articles from publicly available RSS feeds
• Use AI to cluster related articles and generate summaries
• Deliver personalized news digests based on your preferences
• Offer a multilingual app interface; Pro subscribers can receive briefing titles and summaries in their Primary language on refresh
• Provide a live demo at /demo so you can preview the product before signing up

3. User Accounts

• You must sign in with a valid Google account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old
• One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Free Plan

The free plan includes up to 25 RSS feeds, 1 manual refresh every 12 hours, up to 20 AI story briefings per day, and 3-day story history. Current limits are shown in the app and on the upgrade page.

Pro Plan

Monthly subscription at $2.99/month, starting with a 30-day free trial. Features and pricing displayed on the upgrade page.

Billing

• Processed by Stripe
• A payment method is required to start the free trial
• No charge during the 30-day trial if cancelled before it ends
• Auto-renews unless cancelled
• Refunds per Stripe's refund policy

Cancellation

Cancel anytime. Access continues until end of billing period. No partial refunds.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

Brief Digest aggregates and summarizes content from third-party RSS feeds. All original article content remains the intellectual property of its respective publishers. Summaries are AI-generated and constitute fair use commentary.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: distribute spam, reverse-engineer our AI models, scrape content, use automated tools beyond normal usage, impersonate others, or interfere with the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. AI-generated summaries may occasionally contain inaccuracies — always refer to original sources for critical information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brief Digest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
